Our Story
More than a store —
a place that remembers
Shan's Hands opened its doors on Centenary Road with a simple belief: that shopping should feel personal. No overwhelm, no guesswork — just thoughtful selections and a genuine welcome.
We source carefully and stock only what we'd be proud to put in our own homes. That means quality materials, designs that last, and pieces with a point of view. When you walk in, you'll notice the difference — and so will your guests.
Whether you're looking for a gift that lands perfectly or something small to brighten your everyday, we're here to help you find it.
With care,
Shan's Hands

The Shan's Hands Difference
Why customers keep
coming back
In a world of endless scrolling and faceless carts, we believe the human touch still matters. Here's what makes us different.
Hand-Selected Quality
Every item passes our standards before it reaches the floor. If we wouldn't use it ourselves, we won't sell it.
Personal Attention
We know our customers by name and remember what they're looking for. This isn't a transaction — it's a relationship.
Locally Rooted
We're proud to serve Portsmouth and the surrounding community. Your support keeps local business thriving.
Curated, Not Cluttered
We'd rather offer twenty great choices than two hundred mediocre ones. Quality over quantity — always.
Shan's Hands has become our go-to for gifts and little luxuries. The selection is always fresh, the quality is obvious, and the welcome feels genuine. It's the kind of store that makes you glad you live nearby.
